10 things you didn't know about me
Good morning!
There are so many things I want to share with all of you but to begin with some basic information in
order to break the ice and get to know one another a bit I thought I might start with a few things about
myself.
My closest friends would say that I am an open book and if you spend very much time with me you will
agree. On the other hand they will also tell you that even though I am easy to read I am always going
to surprise you. One of my best friends describes me as an onion and that more layers are constantly
being revealed. One of the biggest factors in this is my being an introvert and it will be a little while
before I feel comfortable enough to be my true self around you. To help push straight through the
awkward phase here are ten things you didn’t know about me.
1. This one is actually two but they go together so well that I figured I’d just throw them together. I am
an elementary education major at Northern Kentucky University.
2. I once had pink hair! (sorry I don’t have any pictures) and I am thinking about getting it again!
3. I am so passionate about foreign missions. In fact this spring I have the opportunity to go on a
mission trip to Peru!
4. I LOVE ice skating! I can go around the rink pretty well but when I try little spins is when I fall on
my rear.
5. I will never leave the house without a sweater. I do not care if it is 100 degrees outside you never
know if it is going to be chilly in the car or at your destination. And… I’m also 70 years old.
6. If I could bake everyday I would. The kitchen is one of my happy places, ever since I was a little girl
I have enjoyed standing at the counter helping my mom cook. Now that I get to have culinary
adventures in my own kitchen my roommates and I do our best to make everything we consume gluten
free. If you have ever tried to go down the gluten free road you know it is full of potholes.
Mainly crunchy, chewy, cracker like textured potholes.
7. Hot chocolate, and Christmas movies are to be enjoyed all year long. I suppose this is not so much
about me as it is just a fact about life but as it is a controversial opinion to have we’ll say its about me.
8. If I could have any super power I would most certainly want to be able to fly.
9. I could eat breakfast for every meal for the rest of my life. Breakfast is not only the most important
meal of the day but the best.
10. This is one that fascinates all of my friends...my foot size. I am 20 years old and wear a children’s
size 2 shoe most of the time. It is a fairly frequent event for one of my friends to look at my feet and
remark “Savanah! The size of your feet! No one has feet that small!”
This list has barely scratched the surface in regards to getting to know me but we have plenty of time
for that so until next time,
-Savanah
This is one of my favorite photographs of myself taken by my good friend Samuel Greenhill! I don't mean to make an advertisement out of this but you should totally go and check out his work at http://www.samuelgreenhillphotos.com/
You forgot to mention that you're a doilie
